Revelocity Racing Announces Team Driver
Barboursville, WV -
Brett Rowe, ARCA Champion and West Virginia native, will pilot the Revelocity Racing #73 Ford Fusion in the 2007 NASCAR Busch series.
"I'm honored and privileged to represent this state in the sport I love. This is an opportunity for me to prove that I can be competitive at the highest level of racing," Rowe said.
"Brett has a long history of winning races in almost every level of competition," Jason Hager, CEO of Revelocity Racing, said. "We're so excited that a West Virginia native will be driving for the West Virginia NASCAR team. He is the perfect fit for our team."
The team plans to debut at the Pepsi 300 Busch Race at Nashville Superspeedway on April 7. The race will be televised on ESPN2.
"We only have about three weeks before our first testing session in Nashville, so we will be working day and night to get the car ready," Hager said.
Although the team has little time to prepare, Rowe assures fans that they are working hard to be ready to race.
"It's certainly a tight schedule, but we will do everything we can to be ready," Rowe said.
Revelocity Racing is planning a Meet and Greet before the team leaves for Nashville to give fans a chance to meet Brett, see the car, talk to the team, and most of all, rally support for the first race.
Revelocity Racing, headquartered in South Charleston, WV, was started in 2006 by a group of West Virginia business owners who shared a common goal of bringing NASCAR to West Virginia.
